Where are all the 1.7.x Mods?

Where are all the 1.7.2 Mods for Minecraft?Right! Minecraft 1.7.2 has been out for a couple months & 1.7.4 & 1.7.5 have also been released, where are all the mods for them?

So, you’re using Minecraft 1.7.2, 1.7.4 or 1.7.5 and looking to install mods for it. And you’re not finding any!

Well, the reason is because the update to Minecraft 1.7.2 included changing over half a million lines of code, many of them being related to the world generation engine.

LexManos and the team over at Forge (the main core mod) have been working very hard and have finally released a stable version for 1.7.2. Hopefully soon, they will release versions for 1.7.4 and 1.7.5. As soon as they do, you will start seeing all the other mods releasing updates for those versions.

  1. UPDATE ON 1.7.2 MODS

    Forge is starting to release updates now for 1.7.2. They have yet to release a stable recommended version, but it’s a great sign that 1.7.2 Mods are not far away!

  2. A stable, recommended release of Forge is now available for Minecraft 1.7.2 and we are now seeing Mods being updated for 1.7.2.

    This means that a recommended release for 1.7.4 shouldn’t be too far away.
