      What version are you running?
      Did Forge install correctly?
      What other mods do you have installed?

    got the same problem. Forge deffinetly installed correctly, running minecraft 1.4.7, no other mods installed. followed the step by step instructions on the screen, but did not work.
    minecraft not stucking on mojang screen, it simply crashes prematurely.
    I can send u the error report:

      Can you please try again as follows…?
      1. Install Forge again (deleting META-INF BEFORE installing Forge)
      2. Install Garden Craft and DO NOT delete META-INF.
      Let me know if that works.

      I’ve just updated the instructions above specifically for Minecraft 1.4.7
      Let me know if you still have trouble getting it to work.
